Carriagem is a small cove below the cliffs near Rogil, north of Aljezur, with big rocks in the bay. On a small day it is a beach break, but on large winter swells with offshore wind it becomes a powerful and dangerous wave that can hold well over 4 m. Few people surf it, and only experts should try.
