A sand-bottom right in the Quercetano bay at Castiglioncello, south of Livorno, also known as Bagni Italia. Its history is a bit of a local legend. The sandbanks shift a lot, so it is unpredictable, but on a good bank it gives fun rides for mid-lengths and longboards. It is sheltered from the scirocco.
