A south-facing strand near Clonakilty, split by a small headland with a hotel on it. A river reaches the sea at each end and shapes the sandbanks. In front of the hotel the peaks are soft, good for longboards and learners. A quicker right breaks off the headland, and at lower tides the river mouth on the east side can give hollow lefts.
