Levanto is a curved bay at the edge of the Cinque Terre with several peaks over sand and rock. The sandbank in front of the Casinò gives an easy wave and can produce a long left; La Pietra, at the sheltered south end, works in big storms; and Nadia and La Gritta are faster, rockier waves for good surfers. Small days suit learners, but big days are only for experienced surfers.
