Sandy peaks on both sides of the Lido di Camaiore pier, with more peaks along the beach to the south towards the Fosso dell'Abate, known as Garuglia Point. Easy and mellow when small, it gets hollow and harder as the swell grows, and on big days the peak moves outside the pier. It has a strong local scene.

Crowd and vibe
Crowded around the pier; quieter at Garuglia. A big crew of skilled locals who grew up here.

Campo Scout Migliarina is about 3 km away and Camping Viareggio about 5.5 km away; there is a camper park (Kennedy) about 1.5 km away. Nearest campsite about 3 km away.

Piazza Matteotti, by the pier, was rated good in 2025 (excellent before). The Fosso dell'Abate mouth was rated poor in 2025, so stay away from it after rain.
