The Plage du Centre is Bidart's village beach, about 500 m of sand under green cliffs, recognisable by its sea wall that is nearly a hundred years old. It is a beach break over sand and rock with hollow, fun lefts and rights that can tube on good days. It works at all tides and is popular with surfers and bodyboarders, but it often closes out and the beach narrows a lot at high tide.
