Bordeira is the huge beach and dune system north of Carrapateira village, where the Bordeira stream reaches the sea. It is a peaky beach break, often fat at low tide. At the south end, on bigger days, a fast left point breaks off the Carrapateira cliffs. Walk up the beach and you can usually find a peak to yourself.
