When it doesn't

✕ Small swells don't wake it up, any westerly wind ruins it, and high tide is poor.

  • rips

Local tips

For experienced surfers only. Wannasurf warns of sea urchins on the reef and strong rips, and few people surf it, so don't go out alone. Check it from the headland first.

Getting there

From the White Strand car park north of Spanish Point, walk west along the headland to the point (15–30 minutes). It is a long paddle to the take-off.
