Travel notes

How often it works
Fickle: it needs a proper storm swell from the south and breaks only a few dozen days a year. Summer is mostly flat.

Usually a few local surfers. A home spot with a long-standing local crew.
Camping and vans
Caravan Park La Vesima is about 3 km west along the coast. Nearest campsite about 3 km away.
Facilities
City beach with bars and public transport nearby. No surf-specific services.
Water quality
The closest EU bathing site, Cerusa, was rated only sufficient in 2025 (good the year before); Mulino di Crevari and Castello Genovese nearby rate better. Avoid the river mouth after rain.
