Praia da Luz is a holiday town beach west of Lagos. Two point waves break near the Rocha Negra headland: a fast, shallow one and an easier one, both holding up to about 1.5 m. The reef in front of Rocha Negra itself has a very good right, but strong localism keeps most visitors away.
