Beliche is a cliff-backed beach near Cape St Vincent, reached down a long stairway. It is sheltered, so it needs a big north-west swell or a large swell from the south. When it works, it is one of the best waves in the region, with hollow waves over sand and flat rock, and bodyboarders getting barrelled close to shore.
