A long sandy coast with stone groynes from the last pier north of Agger Tange to the piers south of the village. Each groyne can shape a different peak, and the banks move all the time, so you drive along and check them. The big pier south of town is known for a hard shore break and strong waves, but it gives shelter from a south wind.

Travel notes

How often it works
The Thy coast takes North Sea wind swell from the south-west round to the north, so autumn, winter and spring bring waves most weeks. Real groundswell is rare, periods are short, and summer can be flat for long spells.
Crowd and vibe
Quiet; most surfers stay further north around Klitmøller and Vorupør.

A few shops and places to eat in Agger; little at the beach itself.
