A long, west-facing spit of sand reaching out into Dingle Bay, with dunes behind and mountains on every side. Waves break gently over the sand, both left and right, and give you time to stand up. That makes it one of the best beaches in Kerry for learning and for longboards. The north end usually has the best surf.
