Local tips

A big rock sits on the inside and is hidden at high tide. Get in near the man-made tidal pool.

Getting there

On the seafront promenade of Playa de Las Américas, between the Veronicas strip and Los Cristianos; park in the resort and walk. The entry is just north of the man-made tidal pool.

Travel notes

How often it works
Works mainly on south swells, which are most frequent in summer.
Crowd and vibe
A protective local group; visitors report a hard time here more than at the other Las Américas spots.
Camping and vans
Wild camping is not allowed on Tenerife. The island council (Cabildo) runs camping zones, mostly in the hills and forests, that need a permit booked in advance. The Canary Government's draft decree would ban tourist overnight stays in vans outside official campsites.
Facilities
Resort promenade with bars, restaurants and parking.
Water quality
In the 2025 EU bathing-water results, the nearest point (El Camisón) was rated excellent.
