El Balneario is the town beach of Tarifa at the eastern end of Los Lances, next to the causeway to Isla de las Palomas, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Lefts and rights break over sand and rock, with hollow sections and good walls on the best days. It is one of the more reliable surf spots in the Tarifa area. It gets crowded fast.
