The Petite Chambre d'Amour is the southern end of Anglet, under the cliff that climbs to the Biarritz lighthouse, and was once known as the VVF beach. The Chambre d'Amour peaks are a regional classic, with a powerful, hollow take-off and good tubes over well-shaped banks, and the cliff shelters them from southerly winds. The local crew is technically strong and it is very busy at weekends. Anglet's surfing history began here.

Getting there

At the foot of the Chambre d'Amour cliff, with promenade parking (paid in season) and step-free access.
