La Cortadura is almost 4 km of undeveloped beach on the narrow strip of land between Cádiz and San Fernando, running south toward Torre Gorda. It is the city's only wild beach. Several sandbar peaks work in autumn, winter and spring, from easy waves for learning to hollow sections on good days. There are a few small patches of rock in the middle of the beach.
