La Derecha de Trafalgar is a long, gentle right that wraps around the south side of Cabo de Trafalgar, below the lighthouse. It breaks over rock and sand and is one of the best-known longboard waves in Andalusia. It needs a big swell to wrap in, so it mostly works in winter. On those days the long walls are smooth and easy to ride.

Check it when El Palmar and the lighthouse beach are too big and messy: the cape shelters this side. In the 20th century this corner of the coast was a famous hippie meeting place.

A five-minute walk from the end of the lighthouse road at Los Caños de Meca.
