The beach just north of the Cabo de Trafalgar lighthouse faces straight into the south-west swell and has a short, hollow, fast shorebreak. It is usually bigger than the beaches around it. It is mostly a bodyboard wave: the take-off is steep and the waves often break boards. For surfers it is only for those who stand up fast and like barrels.
