Le Gouyot is a small reef on Ré's south coast near Gros-Jonc, at Le Bois-Plage, where flat rock shelves give soft, playful lefts and rights. The waves are short on most days and run further when the swell lines up. It works from under a metre and holds a little over two metres, but breaks only now and then. Little is written about it beyond the forecast sites, and the few locals who surf it are discreet about the exact spot.
