Mosteiros is a village on the far west tip of São Miguel, with a black-sand beach and rock islets offshore. A long right peels along the rock and sand at the end of the bay. On good days there are two take-off zones; the outer one has a faster, steeper wall. The sand beach next to it makes getting in and out easy.
