As Torradas, at Aviño in Carballo, is the wild western end of the Razo coast. It shares its sand with Razo but sits between cliffs and dunes, fully open to the North Atlantic. Peaks of sand and rock break both ways near the rocks, and the banks can move from week to week. It is at its best around 1 to 2 m, but it handles big surf and can be very powerful. You reach it on foot, and the harder access keeps it quiet.
