Seaia is a small, sheltered cove of sand and rock just west of Malpica, 250 m long, in a Natura 2000 area of dunes and green cliffs. It is an alternative when the sea is too big for the open Costa da Morte beaches. The main wave is a right near the start of the beach, and a left usually forms in the middle. It is fairly consistent in winter and mostly flat in summer. Strong currents make it a poor choice for beginners, except on very small days.
