A right-hand point break over rock reef on the south side of the Pointe de Dinan, below the Château de Dinan rock arch. It needs a bigger swell than almost anywhere else on the peninsula, but when it works it is one of the longest waves on Crozon, fast and powerful over shallow water, in a spectacular setting of clear water and high cliffs. Paddle out along the line of waves rather than through the white water, and expect a walk over rock to reach the water; it is a wave for experienced surfers.

Local tips
Paddle out alongside the breaking waves, as on any point, rather than straight through the white water. The current is mild but pulls you back towards the peak. In a heavy swell keep well back from the water's edge on the rocks: rogue waves sweep people off them here several times a year.
Getting there
From the Crozon–Camaret road, take the D308 signed to the Pointe de Dinan and drive to the last car park. From there it is a 5–15 minute walk over rock to the water.
Travel notes
- How often it works
- Needs a lot of swell, about 2.5–3 m out at sea, before waves break on the reef. It handles 4 m and more, so it only works in proper winter storms. Summer is mostly flat.
- Crowd and vibe
- Empty in the week and only a few surfers at weekends. It is a calm, scenic spot where regulars ask everyone to be respectful and take turns.
- Camping and vans
- The nearest campsite is the 3-star Camping de la Plage de Goulien, about 2 km away. Camping Les Pins, on the route de la Pointe de Dinan, is about 4 km away and opens about May to 20 September. The car park at the point is for day parking only: no camping, and visitors report regular checks and fines. Nearest campsite about 2 km away.
- Facilities
- Just a car park at the end of the D308, with no lifeguards or services. Cafés and surf schools are at Goulien or in Crozon.
- Water quality
- The reef is not an official bathing site, so it has no rating. The nearest tested beach, Goulien, rated good every year from 2022 to 2025.
