A long right-hand reef a short walk from Easkey Left. Now and then it gives perfect barrels. Most days it is a long, open wall for turns, with several sections that come and go as the tide changes. It is powerful, but rarely scary.

When it doesn't

Local tips

Wear booties: the reef is sharp and uneven, and there are holes your feet can slip into. You won't find bins here, so take all your rubbish with you.

Getting there

Park on the roadside overlooking the break; the paddle-out is short.

Travel notes

Solid but not outstanding: it works often from autumn to spring, but really great days don't come often.

A fair number of surfers on good days. The mood is calm, though stricter attitudes from the nearby reefs can spill over.
Facilities
Roadside parking; toilets and camping by the castle at Easkey Left.
Water quality
Not an EPA-monitored bathing water. Expect farm run-off in the water after heavy rain (Surfnerd).
