F3, also called La Salvaje, is a heavy slab on the wild rocky coast of Oia, between Baiona and A Guarda. It breaks over a granite ledge about 200 m out. The wave does not peel: it throws all its power at once into a short, wide tube. It is mainly a bodyboard wave, works from small swells and holds 4 m or more, and big-wave surfers tow into it on the largest days.
