A left over lava reef on the wild west coast of La Graciosa, the small car-free island off the northern tip of Lanzarote. On a good north-west swell it runs for a long way, with barrel sections on the inside. It is far from everything, so the few people who make the trip usually share it with almost nobody.

Local tips
Bring everything you need: water, food, booties and a spare leash. There is no help nearby and often no one else in the water, so don't paddle out alone on a big day.
Getting there
Take the ferry from Órzola to Caleta de Sebo (about 25 minutes), then walk more than half an hour across the island on the sand tracks, or take a 4x4 taxi. The island is a protected natural area, so stay on the tracks.
