Trengandín is the long main beach of Noja, east of the village. Its sand is broken up by reef patches and rocks, and a big rock shapes the best peak. It is a fairly exposed, consistent beach break that works all year, with fast, quite powerful waves; lefts are more common than rights. It is much quieter than El Brusco at its eastern end.

Local tips
The best peak breaks behind the big rock, so sit off it. Watch for currents that pull towards that same rock. Buoys and rocks are scattered in the water. In summer bodyboarders crowd the main peak while the outer banks stay almost empty. Many surfers here come from the Basque Country.
Getting there
There is a car park in front of the beach, about five minutes' walk from Noja village.
