Saint-Girons Plage is a small, very family-oriented resort reached by a single road through the forest. The beach break is short and fairly inconsistent, with lefts and rights over sand that rarely get heavy, which makes it a good place for beginners and relaxed sessions. It is not a big-wave spot and tends to close out once the swell gets solid. It gets busier in summer, when families fill the beach.
