A wide, pure-sand beach on Flakstadøya, right by the E10, with several peaks and no rocks or reef. The waves are usually smaller and softer than at Unstad, so it is Lofoten's main learner beach, and a good place to go when Unstad is too big or blown out.

Local tips
Mid to high tide gives the best banks. In summer it is calm enough for beginners; winter storms are for experienced surfers. Don't surf remote beaches alone: there is no lifeguard service. Water is about 4–6 °C in winter and 10–14 °C in summer: a 6/5 hooded wetsuit with 7 mm boots and gloves in winter.
Getting there
Just off the E10 at Flakstad, near Ramberg; Leknes airport is about 40 minutes away.
