A white-sand cove on the west side of the Stad peninsula, below the church and a memorial chapel. Rights peel off the point over sand and rock. It faces a slightly different angle from Hoddevik and is often bigger, so it is the backup when Hoddevik is small or crowded.

Local tips

Low tide gives a fast wave, high tide a mellower one. Surf-forecast warns of a submerged wreck near the line-up. Water is about 5–7 °C in late winter and up to about 16–18 °C in late summer: a 5/4 with boots, gloves and a hood from autumn to spring.
