Soesto is a wild, 850 m beach of fine white sand near Laxe, in a protected natural setting with no village nearby. It is among the most consistent beaches in Galicia and one of the top 16. It needs very little swell and holds over 3 m. When it's on, its peaks give fast, powerful waves with room for turns and good tubes; they shift with the tide and sandbanks. Dolphins are often seen in the water.
