Aguilar is a fairly small beach of sand and rock, about 640 m long, at Muros de Nalón, west of the Nalón. A big rock sits in the middle. Peaks break on both sides of it on north to north-west swell, and a nice left peels off near the rock. It is best on a rising tide, from mid to high. The waves are gentle and local schools use it, so it suits beginners, but good days give rides of 150 m or more.
