Oleiros is a small, hidden beach of about 500 m between Artedo and San Pedro, near Cudillero, below steep slopes. At high tide it splits into small coves, and naturists use it. It is fairly exposed and works on medium to large north-west swells. Lefts and rights break over reef and sand, with rocks framing the peaks. Few surfers come here, and little has been written about it.

Travel notes

How often it works
Fairly consistent on north-west swell. Autumn and winter give the best days.
Crowd and vibe
Rarely crowded, because you have to walk about 20 minutes down from the car. It is an official nudist beach, so expect naturists on the sand in summer.
Camping and vans
The nearest campsites are Camping San Pedro de la Ribera and the two in Artedo (Los Pradones and Yolimar), each roughly 2 km away. There is no car park at the beach. Leave the car at the Monte Valsera picnic area. Nearest campsite about 2 km away.
Facilities
None at all: no toilets, no bar and no lifeguards, so bring everything and call 112 in an emergency.
Water quality
Not covered by official bathing-water sampling. The beach is remote, with no town or river right behind it.
