Canallave is the small beach at the eastern end of Liencres, reached by stairs and split from Valdearenas by a rocky point. It has sand between flat rock shelves. Its named waves are El Madero (fast rights), La Lastra (a hollow, powerful left and right over rock) and Entreplayas (long waves with hollow sections towards Valdearenas). It works in modest swell and is often cleaner than Valdearenas. The local crowd is skilled.

Mid tide is the usual time. As the tide drops, extra waves appear below the cliffs east of the point, but plan how you will get out before paddling there. The level is high and most surfers are local, so be patient and respectful. Autumn mornings often bring light offshore wind.
