A left point on the western shore of Jard-sur-Mer, at the Plage de la Mine between the cliffs towards Pointe du Payré and the town beaches, reached past the Parc de la Grange. The wave starts on a flat rock shelf and finishes over pebbles and sand, peeling left from the same take-off nearly every time, which makes it predictable and good for learning to read a lineup. On a good day rides run 150–300 m. It often looks small from the beach and turns out bigger once you are out. A relaxed longboarders' wave, often surfed by just a few people.

Local tips
Paddle out through the channel beside the take-off zone rather than over the rocks. The designated surf area is at the eastern end of the beach, away from the supervised swimming zone in summer. The push towards high tide is the usual window; sources disagree on the exact stage, so check it on the rise. Expect lessons from the beach surf school in summer.
Getting there
From Jard-sur-Mer take the road towards the Payré, then turn left on the Chemin de la Mine about 1.5 km on; there is free parking near the forest and a short walk to the beach. A summer snack bar, lifeguard post and bike racks are by the beach.
