O Matadoiro, also called Bajo del Matadero, is a long, consistent right over a shallow reef at the north-eastern corner of the Orzán–Riazor bay in A Coruña, by Matadoiro beach. It is the best wave in the bay once the swell is big enough. Then it turns powerful and serious, with hollow tube sections. It breaks in the middle of the city, so it draws a crowd whenever it works, and winter gets serious.
