Antilla is a small beach of about 220 m on the left bank of the Oria river mouth, below Mount Kukuarri and in front of Orio. The harbour breakwater gives it some shelter. In big swells the best wave is a left that runs down the breakwater, while the middle of the beach has shifting peaks in both directions on sand, with the rights the most reliable. The waves are friendly and of medium length, good for intermediates and longboarders.

Local tips
The jetty left needs a large swell, so come here when the more exposed beaches are big and messy. The river current pulls along the breakwater, so watch where it takes you. In summer the beach fills with bodyboarding kids, while in winter it is often quiet.
Getting there
From Orio it is a 2 km walk along the promenade, or 1.5 km by road, to the large car park at the beach entrance. Euskotren buses between Zumaia and Donostia stop in Orio.
