Peizás is a short beach of sand and rock just west of Foz, 540 m long and framed by low cliffs and green slopes. It needs a decent swell to wake up, but it keeps working when the open beaches are too big. Its peaks move with the sandbanks; the best one, a right and a left over sand and rock, sits at the western end. With a good swell the waves are long and easy to turn on. It is the town's local spot and a meeting place for Foz surfers.
