Serantes, also called Sarello, is a small sandy bay of about 200 m west of Tapia, among meadows, dunes and salt marsh at the mouth of the River Tol. It is more open than the town beach at Tapia and has peaks on a medium north-west swell. The waves are moderate and it is often windy. It is a quieter choice when Tapia is busy; surf guides say little about it, and most surfers here head to Tapia or Peñarronda.
