The southern part of the Baleal bay, in front of the Baleal campsite area, is a long sandy beach break that curves towards Peniche. It has more power than Cantinho, and wannasurf contributors call it a good option when Supertubos is too heavy. Its northern end is close to offshore in the summer north wind.
