Sorginetxe, Basque for 'witch's house', is a big-wave right near Lapari at Deba, breaking over a bottom of rock and large boulders. Unlike the town beach, it is a technical and demanding wave that only wakes up in a strong north or north-west swell. It starts at about two and a half to three metres and holds five metres and more. Guides describe it as a hardcore spot that is quietly kept to itself.
