Barayo is a wild, 700 m beach in a nature reserve of river, forest, reed beds and salt marsh, on the border of Navia and Valdés. You reach it at the end of a walk through the dunes and the river valley. It is exposed and empty, with lefts and rights breaking on the sand on small to medium north-west swell. It works mostly in winter; in summer it is usually flat.
