Queiruga is an exposed, open beach on the Porto do Son coast, between Baroña and Río Sieira. It catches most of what the Atlantic sends and rarely goes completely flat outside summer. The waves break left and right over sand and have real power for a beach break. On west swells it works from under a metre to about 3 m, with long rides on good days. It usually has only a few surfers.
